Science Teachers feel free to incorporate this AI Science Investigation. Students will investigate bias in science (scientists, science safety, science tools, and experiments).
Time: 10-minute teacher introduction and 15 minutes for Student Exploration
Teacher Tips: Before you begin the lesson, have students draw and/or write what they think a scientist is and what a scientist does, as well as what a safe science classroom looks like. This will begin the conversation about bias and what a fair representation of a safe science classroom might be. The Slides walk you through the lesson.
