Introduction
The PastaLand Teacher slides were modified. I added an extra whole class practice on how to make a decision tree. The teacher and students will make a decision tree by sorting 4 regular shapes that students are familiar with. The student activity is also different because the students are getting their images and making their decision trees. At the end of the lesson, the teacher will use students’ work to discuss the bias in their decision tree making.
Time: 90 minutes
Teacher Tips: Your students should have prior knowledge of how to add images, or you have to be taught how to do it. This lesson will take more than the original because students are getting their images, but they are more enthusiastic about it.
