We know that it takes a tremendous amount of resources to train AI systems. But can the benefits outweigh the costs? In this extension activity, students will explore the following resources to learn about how AI is being used to work toward environmental sustainability.

Teacher Tips:
- Use this extension activity AFTER teaching the Environmental Impact of AI lesson (3.4).
- Students may choose which resources they want to use to explore a variety of topics.
- After work time, before they answer the reflection questions, students should share what they learned from their research.
- After students complete the reflection questions, lead a discussion about their ideas.
