Activity Overview
Students use an online resource to match, create, and classify colors.
Total Activity Time: 20 minutes
Materials:
- Color Matching Game
- “Palette” option
Options for Differentiation
- Assign heterogeneous ability partners to complete the “Color Matching” and “Create a Color Palette” activities together. Assign clear roles and responsibilities for each member of the dyad.
- Give students (or pairs) extra time to complete each activity. This might mean creating time for them to complete the activity outside of the class period.
- Give clear verbal and written directions accompanied by modeling or a walkthrough of all activities before students begin independent work.
- Remind students that, if they finish early, they can continue to work on their “Explore AI Journal”, which students can work on as an ongoing project.
